This quirky place was the brainchild of a former helicopter pilot for the South Korean Air Force. He and his family love photography and cameras, and wanted to create a place dedicated to them. Their idea is unusual, but it’s a delightful novelty that’s open everyday to the public. So, take a seat and sip a tea as you enjoy the view from a camera-lens window.
Dreaming Camera Café is an adorable two-story coffee shop that is shaped like a Rolleiflex camera. Located less than an hour from Seoul, the café is the work of a retired South Korean helicopter pilot. The café’s Facebook page has more photos. The Rolleiflex model’s twin lenses are turned into large, protruding circular windows. Long rectangular windows that line one side of the coffee shop overlook views of the adjacent farming fields and mountains.
